Who You Know support

Who You Know - Recent Contacts helps you organize contacts, keep notes and plan follow-ups. Operated by SilverLogic, LLC.

Contact support

Email support@tsl.io. Include the app version/build, iOS version, the feature involved and the steps that produced the issue. Please do not send passwords, sign-in tokens, complete contact exports or private photos unless support specifically arranges a secure, limited transfer.

Getting started

You can scan and work locally without an account. Who You Know asks you to sign in when you choose an account-backed action. You choose which Contacts cards the app can access and can change that choice in iOS Settings. Declining a permission does not prevent you from browsing other available features.

Backup and recovery

Sign in to your personal account and enable cloud backup. Review the recovery preview before restoring missing contacts. Existing or ambiguous cards are held for review rather than silently overwritten. A metadata-only historical backup cannot recreate a missing address book.

Photos and integrations

Public photo sharing opens the iOS share sheet. Your organization can configure its authorized Slack workflow. Optional integrations require an account and availability of the provider connection. Organization membership does not expose your private backup.

Sharing and ratings

In versions with these features, Settings offers Share Who You Know to open the iOS share sheet and Rate Who You Know to open the App Store review page. The app may also offer Apple’s review prompt after several days of useful activity; Apple controls whether it appears.

Message logging, Mac companion and AI

Settings › Log texts automatically explains how to set up an optional Shortcuts automation. It sees only received messages explicitly passed to it; iOS does not let Who You Know read your Messages or WhatsApp database. You can also paste a conversation on a contact. Logged correspondence may synchronize to your connected CRM or cloud backup when enabled.

Mac setup is available to an authorized organization or through a configured companion download link in Settings. Use the updated companion, review its forwarding description and explicitly enable it for your account. The iPhone connects automatically after that choice unless you previously turned Mac logging off. Pause or turn off forwarding in the companion to stop new uploads. Full Disk Access alone does not enable forwarding. Do not install an untrusted copy.

AI drafting and logged-message analysis are separate optional choices. The permission screen names the configured recipient, links its privacy policy and lists the information it receives, including past messages used for drafting style where applicable. Message analysis starts off. If no provider and privacy terms are configured, messages are logged without AI. Turning a choice off stops future requests; it does not remove copies already held by a provider.

Usage analytics

This public release does not send usage analytics to PostHog. Review-prompt counters remain on your device. If Settings shows a previously used Analytics ID, contact support@tsl.io for help with that history.

Report or block

A basic phrase filter blocks some obvious abusive text before shared publication. It cannot catch every concern; reporting, blocking and administrator review handle remaining issues.

Use the app’s reporting and blocking controls for an unwanted member or objectionable shared content. Give enough context for an administrator to investigate; report details are not published to other members. For urgent account or safety support, email support@tsl.io. Administrators can review reports, remove violating shared content and restrict abusive accounts.

Account deletion

Use the account deletion action in Who You Know’s account settings. Deletion removes your private cloud data, personal integration credentials and your authored shared content. Other members’ independent content, organizations and teams remain. Device contacts, independently saved local copies, exported files and provider copies are managed separately. For privacy questions, contact support@tsl.io.
